Clinical Plant Disease Diagnostics & Pathogen Identification

Practical diagnosis of fungal and bacterial plant diseases from agricultural and greenhouse crops, coupled with applied endophyte research at Royan Plant Pathology Clinic (Oct 2026 – Present).

Clinical Workflow & Applied Mycology

Working as a Plant Pathology Intern at Royan Plant Pathology Clinic provides daily hands-on exposure to a wide spectrum of crop diseases affecting commercial orchards, field crops, and greenhouses. My workflow involves symptomology assessment, moist-chamber incubation, selective isolation of causal agents from symptomatic roots, stems, and foliage, and rapid microscopic identification of plant-pathogenic fungi and oomycetes.

Alongside routine clinical diagnostics and formulating integrated disease management recommendations for growers, I continue my research on beneficial and endophytic fungi, bridging the gap between academic mycology and practical agricultural problem-solving.
